Celeste Ratajczak, FNP-BC, MSN-Ed, RN

Celeste Ratajczak, FNP-BC, MSN-Ed, RN has been a welcome addition to our practice. She is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) and holds her Nurse Practitioner’s License through the State of California Board of Registered Nursing. Celeste has worked in healthcare for many years and has considerable experience in multiple medical specialties. While she is excellent with pain management assessments, minimally invasive pain interventions, and medication management, she focuses most of her time providing emotional support for patients as they face the challenges of chronic pain.  Celeste has told us that as a pain management provider, she does her best to spend time with her patients. “I truly listen to their concerns about chronic pain. It is so rewarding to help my patients with challenging health problems & difficult life situations attain optimal health outcomes.”

Celeste utilizes her in-depth knowledge to treat patients with chronic pain, and respects how each patient experiences pain differently. She was inspired to become a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner after working as a Registered Nurse in a critical care unit, caring for patients after complicated neurological procedures like spine surgery and aneurism coiling. She learned from her many patients that pain is a complex phenomenon.
Celeste was born and raised in Southern California. Prior to beginning her work in healthcare, she worked as a marketing consultant for KSWB-TV broadcast television and as a commercial loan officer. However, Celeste always had a passion for science and medicine, so she followed her true calling by attending United States University Nursing School, where she earned her RN licensure, a Master’s Degree in Nursing, followed-by her Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree.

Celeste is an active member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the AANP Pain Management Specialty Group, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

Celeste enjoys riding and competing on her horses, reading, and spending time with her husband cheering on the San Diego Padres.
